    Well, darlings, I must say, I am glad I have joined the Air Fryer and Instant Pot craze. All joking aside, as a busy working mom and wife, I tell you, these gadgets are my extra hands. They do ALL the hard work for me.

    For example, there’s no need to let certain frozen foods such as this shoestring fries thaw out before frying them. I can place them in the air fryer basket, and VOILA, the side dish is complete in a matter of minutes!

    Tilapia is easy to cook. Quick to thaw. It is tasty when seasoned well. It accommodate most meals and it’s a fish the entire family can enjoy. It is also affordable when cooking for a large family.

    Fish And Chips

    It is amazing how one dish can start in one part of the region and is accepted, as well as loved by so many all over the world. Dating back to the 16th century in Spain and Portugal where it originated and settling in England, Fish and chips first appeared in the UK in the 1860s, and by 1930s there were many shops in England.

    This ultimate comfort food is easy to prepare in the deep fryer and even easier to prepare in the air fryer, as well as making it a healthier option.

    Ingredients

    2 tilapia fillets
    ¼ cup flour
    1 egg
    1 tbsp. cornstarch
    3 tbsp. old bay seasoning
    ¼ Tsp. salt and pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 tbsp. water
    Cooking spray

    How To Make It

    Always start with washing and patting down the fish. Place the fish on a plate. Season lightly with salt and pepper on both sides. Set aside.

    Remember the breading has more salt from the Old Bay Seasoning.

    Prepare the seasoning in a separate bowl.
    Prepare the eggs and water in a different bowl. Set aside.
    Place the fish in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, then in the flour mixture again. Coat well. On all sides. Spray with cooking oil.
    Cook in the air fryer for 12 minutes on 400 degrees.

    • Does fish batter contain milk? It can. It all depends on the recipe. I personally prefer it without milk. However, I still enjoy the recipes that do include milk in the batter. The choice is yours.
